New-York, New-York

Here I am, back in Switzerland after 10 amazing days spent between Manhattan and Boston.
I needed a break to clear my mind and to see my friends. I have to say that in Switzerland it's rather depressing especially during the winter with the rain, the grey skys and the cold. The city is completely dead especially on Sunday or at the beginning of week when most of the bars, clubs and the nice restaurants are usually closed.
In the States there is no Sunday as such. People move, go for a walk, have fun, become enlightened by visiting interesting museums and enjoy every minute of their free time! Everything is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, streets are full of people and the city LIVES. People there are helpful and so kind!!
So I had the pleasure to go shopping on a Sunday, to ski at night, to go and have lunch at 4 pm or to have dinner at 11 pm without finding myself in front of a closed door or in front of staff who look sad or angry because they have to work (like in Paris!)... Its so cool!
Here are some pictures taken in the heart of the Big Apple which show my new pair of boots and matching gloves that I bought for myself in NYC.
